São Paulo registered 21 points from flooding during storm

The first day of summer was marked in the Greater Sao Paulo by a storm that algou streets, led to falling trees, barred against Via Anchieta and closed the Congonhas Airport for 45 minutes. In São Paulo, this Sunday (21) were recorded 21 points from flooding. At 21:30, just one point remained active.

The "ecovia", the concessionaire that runs System Anchieta-Immigrants, maintained at 22.15 a range of track Anchieta, between 13 and 10 kms, blocked. The ban came in place to be full - in both senses - and occurred because of the overflow of Ribeirao of hides, which is located on the border between St. Bernard and St. Paul.

In Sao Paulo, remained active on the point of flooding on Avenida Tancredo Neves, about 100 meters after the Vergueiro Street. However, the accumulation of water did not prevent the movement of cars in the future.

The storm also caused the closure of Congonhas Airport in the South Zone of Sao Paulo, for about 45 minutes, between 15h39 and 16h24. The rain did not interfere in the functioning of Cumbica, which reported delays on operational issues.
